Huge thank you to Judy Heathcoat for all her support and advice in helping securing us a grant of £2000 which fully funds the first phase of the project - the clearing and coppicing.

The Parish Council are looking to upgrade the path behind the riding stables so it can be walked by anyone in normal shoes (not just wellies) to access Faringdon, schools or the busses. After taking advice from Oxfordshire's Highways and Footpaths our eventual aim is to provide a tarmac parth from the roundabout behind the stables and in to the village linking it up to the pavement by Cherry Orchard. We hope most of our funding will come from developer contributions from the Steeds and Fernham Fields for the actual hard surface. But first we needed to clear the vegetation both at ground level and also above. This is a multistage job.
