Our well-equipped Reading Room (village hall) is situated at the heart of the village. It is an ideal venue for functions, children's parties, charity or club events, wedding receptions and business meetings. The hall is not currently equipped with WiFi but it is otherwise an ideal meeting room to hire for informal business gatherings of 12 to 14 people. It offers a digital projector and wall-mounted screen for presentations of up to 40 people, a fully equipped kitchen and toilet facilities. The 'Great Coxwell Parish Room' is a registered charity (number 300155), run for the benefit of the village. There is no car park but a small number of cars can park on the street. It is sited a short walk from the village park and children’s playground and St Giles Church, and 400 metres from the National Trust Great Barn. The Reading Room can be hired for morning, afternoon, evening or all day sessions. The rates are as follows: Hire by villagers (non party use) £5.50/hr (Reduction for regular bookings) £5.00/hr Hire by non-villagers (non party use) £11.00/hr Hire for parties £54.00/session Hire for children's parties £24.00/session All day hire (eg Elections) £160.00/day Furniture can also be hired: Chairs for indoor use only £0.50 each/day Chairs for outdoor use £5.00 per 20/day Folding/trestle tables £3.00/day Small card tables £1.00/day To hire the room or furniture please email reading-room@greatcoxwell.com |
