Every year in May, local artists combine to display their work at a number of venues in Great Coxwell and additional activities are mounted, including a cafe serving lunches, coffees and teas.
The village of Great Coxwell offers an Artists’ Trail from the Great Barn down to the Church and all the artists are on hand to demonstrate their skills.
There is a pop-up café in The Reading Room serving delicious home-made cakes, lunches and teas. At the end of the trail is the ancient and beautiful St Giles Church, with a selection of plants for sale.
The event may also feature classical concerts. In 2016, Manus Noble performed here in partnership with the cellist, Jehanne Bastoni.
In 2017 in Great Coxwell, nine artists exhibited in five different venues from the Great Barn to St Giles church. Pam Smith organised the Cafe Coxwell in the Reading Room.
