Being a governor is rewarding and effective way of making a voluntary contribution to your community and to the lives of children. Community Governors are appointed by the Governing Body to represent community interests. They should live or work in the community served by the school and have a keen interest in the schools success. It is important to note that our new Community Governor must not have children currently, or in the near future attending Longcot and Fernham CE Primary. Ideally we would like our new Community Governor to have a keen interest in Health and Safety or Finance aspects of Governance but we will look at all applicants on an individual basis.
