We are celebrating our Harvest Festival at St Giles this Sunday (10th September) at 10.30. We hope you will come and join us, to give thanks for this year's produce and to sing the well-known harvest hymns.
We would welcome donations of any store cupboard items (tins and packets, even pet food), which will be taken afterwards to the Food Bank in Faringdon. They ask that, if possible, any item should have a shelf life of at least 6 months.
Fresh fruit and veg will also be gratefully accepted, to decorate the church. These will go to the Baptist Church on the corner of Bromsgrove in Faringdon, where they will use them to prepare fresh lunches.
If you have items you wish to contribute, please bring them to the church on Saturday morning from 10 o'clock onwards.
Remember, the service is on Sunday morning at 10.30. Do come and join us.
