Now that Jersey has opened its borders again, our new vicar, Rev Maureen Turner, and her husband, Derek, will be coming to Great Coxwell on Saturday afternoon (25th), staying until the following Wednesday, to sort out a few things at the vicarage, ready for their eventual move here in October. They have already sent over enough furniture, kitchen effects and food for them to be self-sufficient during their time here and will probably be quite busy, but I'm sure that if you see them around you will welcome them to the village. However, Maureen warns that she will be in jeans and tee-shirt, so not so readily identifiable as you might expect! I have already told them what a friendly village this is!
