Parish Council Meetings and Minutes
Become a Bereavement Support Worker with Sobell House and support someone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.
Have you ever been told you’re an excellent listener? People always tell you how approachable you are? You could be the perfect person we’re searching for to support clients who have suffered a bereavement. The support can be provided at the hospice, within the client’s home, via telephone, or virtually. And don’t worry, you will receive initial training as well as ongoing training to make sure you are fully prepared. This is the link on the website: sobellhouse.org/volunteer/bereavement-support-worker/ The public consultation on the proposed Part-Night Lighting Implementation Framework is now live on ‘Let’s Talk Oxfordshire’ Part-night lighting and street lighting policy | Let's Talk Oxfordshire
The Consultation is running until midnight on Sunday 6th July. This is for Oxfordshire in general and not specific to Great Coxwell. Don't forget tomorrow night 7 - 9 in the Reading Room
The 3rd Men's Night will be held in the Reading Room on Thursday June 19th from 7pm to 9pm, thanks to all those who have attended so far and have hopefully found it a good way to meet and socialise with others in the village, both those they know already and those they haven't yet met. The format will be the same as before, drop in anytime from 7pm, bring along your own beverage of choice, it's all very informal. The Reading Room has glasses so no need to bring anything else. See you then. Sunday Teas are back.
Please join us for Tea and Cake on Sunday 21st June 2:30 – 5:00 In the Reading Room. "Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze" sounds good to me, come along to this on Sunday afternoon - just text Pam to let her know on 07779653744, the puddings are delicious plus there's a raffle for a beautiful painting - 3.30pm – 6.00pm at The Old Post Office.
